#1 top rated interpretation:Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO is about a figurative political party that is concerned with making changes about the world. A few example are like in the first verse when it says "In the club party rock, look for your girl She on my jock non stop" The "club" is actually like a congress hall for passing bills. When they say "your girl is on my jock non stop" they mean that your problems are on there agenda and they wont stop until it's taken care of. In the course as well when they say "party rock is in the house tonight" they mean there political party is in the white house. Also in the chorus when they say "we just wana see ya shake that!" there talking as if the people say they want to see them shake the economy and make changes. In the second verse when they say "I'm running through these hoes like Drano" They saying that "prostitutes" are often associated with money. In this case there using hoes as an example of money problems or economics. There going to get quickly thought economical problems like Drano in a sink clog is what there trying to say. Finally in the third verse before the chorus they say "Step up fast and be the first girl to make me throw this cash" Girl is a metaphor for the statue of liberty (lady liberty) and by "throw this cash" there saying there going to start a stimulus package for the people in the name of lady liberty or America.
So I think this song really shows that making a change doesn’t have to be boring and dumb. They came about this in a very fun way. They talk about how people should just have a good time. They want to get a message across how they want to make change in the economy and in the world, but it doesn’t have to be boring. This song is a powerful message unfortunately hidden by the message people thinks it has. The song is deeper than just partying in fact the whole thing is a powerful metaphor everyone should know. If everyone knew what they did maybe the world’s governments and overall welfare would be a lot better. -
Party rock at face value is a silly song about rocking and dancing. However, upon further investigation, it can be derived that party rock is referring to the drug more commonly know as crack cocaine. This substance is rock like one that is crushed and snorted for fun, most commonly at parties, thus earning the name party rock. When the song says “party rock is in the house tonight”, it means that crack cocaine is at the party.
