Lostprophets: Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast) Meaning
Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast) Lyrics
When our lives are done
Will we say we’ve had our fun
Will we make a mark this time
Will we always say we tried
Standing on the rooftops everybody scream your heart out
Standing on the rooftops everybody scream your...

#1 top rated interpretation:I love this song. I think it's just about living life to the fullest, having no regrets. You see so much shit happen on the news, and you hear about cancer, and you even go through losing someone you are close to. Stuff like that really makes us think, "wow. That could've been me." take whatever life gives you and make the utmost best out of it. especially for teenagers. Teen years are the best years of our lives. we make mistakes, we love, we struggle, we do crazy things with friends, we get through high school. life is all about taking whatever you have and just making the best out of everything.
I think it's just trying to say that the whole world could stand on a rooftop and scream their lungs out, and feel alive as they've ever been. every person has different stories, experiences, and hopes.

2TOP RATED
#2 top rated interpretation:I think this song is about wanting to make sure that they lived their lives to the fullest... They're a bunch of teenagers and they're trying to make sure... That if they die soon then they can say that they had an exciting life and didn't live for nothing... and they're yelling it from the rooftops so that everyone knows that they lived their lives to the fullest potential!
That's just what I think. -
3TOP RATED
#3 top rated interpretation:I think its also about standing up for what you believe in and/or who you are and not being ashamed of it... Scream it from the rooftops so every body knows

Everyone else has summed this song up. It doesn't matter what those jerks say about you.

Personally, I think this song is about teenagers being tired of being told they're not good enough. The're tired of being put down because they are "different." They just want to be accepted for who they, are inside and out. So they get fed up as Scream Their Heart Out because they are done with hearing the things they're parents tell them. All the teenagers in the video could be defined as "Emo." So their parents and others think they are weird, different, and freaks. And they are all tired of it, so when they scream it tells the world that they're really done with it.

I think it is about never letting go of something that is gone so scream it
-
I think that the meaning of this song is to make the most of life.
"Never gonna regret
Watching every sunset
Listen to your heart beat
All the love that we felt" -
The Buddhist Bee Keeper knows that the colony of fifty thousand Bees can be killed within hours by 'the hands' of as few as a dozen others and yet the Buddhist accepts not being able to save the colony. The Bees have a secret weapon to take one or two, but still the colony can not protect itself from an onslaught. The Buddhist could act to remove the others if found, but does not. The Buddhist accepts that 'meaningless' killing will be waged against the colony and that the Bees will attempt to defend their colony but with no avail because time is the 'only thing' that delays their demise.

It's about people being free and letting all their feelings out on a rooftop and just screaming until they can't scream anymore.

ok... I think they loved each other but it didn't work out... but they're hoping that their love made a mark on other people.. He doesn't wanna live w/o her but he knows he has to so if he dies right now he's fine with that because the love he had w/ her is enough love for a lifetime...
thats mine and bff's interpretation of it -
I think this song is about how teenagers go through a lot and how sometimes we all just need to scream to let it all out
