Midnight City Lyrics

Waiting in a car
Waiting for a ride in the dark
The night city grows
Look at the horizon glow
Waiting in a car
Waiting for a ride in the dark
Drinking in the lights
Following the neon signs
Waiting for a word
Looking at the milky...

This song is the first part of three of a story that has been waiting to happen since the beginning of time. It starts with a man with the heart of a child (one that is pure). Literally in a mental facility to meet the one's he is to pass his energy/faith to.

Each having a "mental disability" which they are told is a weakness, yet they learn to harness it and use it as a strength. Each have their own journeys, not always together. One finds it difficult to escape one's mind, another uses art to express themselves, one with foresight, yet they think they have none, one that sees things that others cannot, her eyes glow. The last has experienced each of these abilities and has learned to harness them. He did not arrive, he jumped into that place which the others were held.

The two women seem to have the hardest time alone, once they all "escape", but after some time apart, they learn to harness their powers and use them for something good.

These are the first of the kings ending at Midnight City.

    LYRICS
Waiting for the right time to go, the hardest part of doing anything, is waiting before the doing.
Her eyes glow wonderfully as they are the glory of the world. She is more beautiful than anyone seen. She is the Queen.
