M83: Wait Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Wait Lyrics
Give your tears to the tide,
No time, no time
There's no end, there is no goodbye,
Disappear with the night
No time
No time
No time
No time

#1 top rated interpretation:People hide from things like their fears and responsibilities, maybe adulthood as a general concept. so the song says send your dreams where nobody hides. send your dreams, your hopes, yourself mentally away from a place where you need to hide from the bad things. send yourself to a place of freedom and serenity and peace. Give your tears to the tide, to me, means let it go and accept and move on the way the tide flows and continues. There is no time in this world to waste, aim for your dreams, let your sadness and anger go. There is no end there is no goodbye, means you will never be alone even when your loved ones no longer walk the earth with you. you will see them again. no time to be sad. Also, there is no end could mean there is no end to the love you can give and the abilities you have, keep dreaming. Disappear with the night. let things flow, be yourself, go out and do what you love, not worrying about the consequences or the judgment. love all you can. no time to waste.
to me this song is about inspiration and motivation and holding on and regaining the mind set you once had to aspire to be great.
Good luck to you in all of your lives, you can do this. -

#2 top rated interpretation:It's about Heaven, or the afterlife. Where there is no time. All your dreams are realized, not hidden. The tears you cry when you lose a loved here on Earth, let the tide take them away, because if you can just hold on and, "Wait", you'll be with all your loved ones again in the next life.??? So live a good life with happiness & love knowing we will be together again one day. Peace

#3 top rated interpretation:Wait song means not waiting or hoping or expecting for anything because you will only get disappointed in the end. Never wait for anything or something. Never look back in the past because it will only give you a headache, chest pains and you will only remember the rejections, disappointments and failures in life. Live in the present moment because it will never come back and after a second, the future is already there. It's about letting go of the past and never looking back. It's about exploring the things which will make you a better you, a better person, and a better perspective in life. It's about interacting with everyone because you will learn a lesson or different view. Yeah, focusing in the important, being appreciative, living a meaningful life with the people who matter to you. Peace man!

Open to interpretation, like all art.
My circumstantially estranged mother died very suddenly at age 52, in the bleak heart of winter, the darkest part of the night. My brother and I arrived at the hospital as she was dying and got to her room mere moments after she passed. She literally died while we rode the elevator up. Devastating. On the silent, dark, icy snow covered 4am drive home, this song shuffled on his Spotify playlist and embedded itself in me with the feeling of it all. -
This song is really special to me because God directly spoke to me through it. Wait is the title. He showed me the song in a season of waiting. In the Video there is an upcoming sunrise which represents the end of my waiting and the reveal of his promises. In the meantime my faith will be made stronger and the promise becomes even greater. In the Video there’s also a guy being bet up and a little girl walking safely. The guy to me is Jesus who took and takes it all for me to be able to walk safely. There’s no time to waste to think that God has abandoned us and left us to ourselves. He’s there in every season being bet up for our rescue and carrying it all. He counts every tear that we ever cried. He knows us even better than we do. He will never leave. He will never say goodbye. He always sticks with us through every season and strengthens us while we’re waiting. And the sunrise is just on the other side and about to begin.
God bless you all. He loves you so freaking much and wishes nothing more than that you invite him into every season of your life. Because he has the sunrise for you in store. <3 I love you my redeemer savior father and friend <3 -
I love you Professor! I gave my tears to the tide! So many tears! I dream of you! You are in my dreams! There was not enough time with you! No measure of time could ever be enough with you! There is no end to my love for you there is no goodbye.

there’s not enough time in the world or for your life to stay comfortable. You have to take risks, live in the present, do what you think is right, be impulsive. When we die, we do not look back on the regrets on life. We look back and see the things we chose to do and the risks we took. Some things will end in pain but so many others will end in beauty. We never know how things will turn out, so take the path you feel in your heart because there is not enough time to stay in a cage. We cannot change the past; we cannot see the future. We get to chose how we live in the present, so choose the unknown.

I think this song is about telling yourself to finally accept who u r in the present moment and telling yourself it’s time to finally be the real you to the people in ur world. Send ur dreams to where nobody hides to me means being willing to stop b I ng so hard in urself bc of the pain in ur life and that the world makes you feel less then. It’s saying to go be vulnerable and seek happiness. Be open about who u aspire to b regardless of how the world accepts u or not. Give ur tears to the tide means Its time to move forward and live. There is no time means live and appreciate every day, appreciate every person who means something to you, to focus on the true things that matters in life.. which are the positive people who bring joy to ur world. It spurs me in to want to bring joy and encouragement to others. It reminds me how lonely life can be at times . How sad this world can be if u listen to the negative. It reminds me how short and fragile life is and gives me a deep hope to move on , even though my disappointments make it bittersweet .. I need to move forward.

This part must mostly remain a secret as to not spoil the end of our jounrey here on earth, which still is never going to end.
LYRICS
This speaks about the start our kingdom of mankind/humans. There are two that went through a hardship. I feel for them, as it is an unbearable journey alone.
ADDED CONTEXT
We did not come from neanderthals, nor were we created in the traditional religious sense, we have always been. -
Time is an illusion. Live in the now, that is all you ever have.

To me, this song is about living for the present moment and making the most out of your life instead of mourning over the past that you cannot change or worrying about what may come later. It´s about letting go off whatever holds you back, whether it´s a fear or a regret or sorrow. It´s about focusing on the imporant things, being grateful for what you have and actively pursuing what is meaningful to you, to live a meaningful life.

This song is instruction, per se to connect with a past loved one, imo.
