"Be Kind" is a beautiful collaboration between Marshmello and Halsey that's all about opening up to the people you love.
This song is centered around two lovers, one of whom doesn't share their feelings, either because they're embarrassed or they don't know how. The other is telling them that they can always come to them when they need to. -
I think "Be kind" is about loving someone so much but no matter what you do they won't open up and be comfortable or show the same love you showed them. It's that person expressing there feelings and saying how they felt it was unfair.
