Metallica: Die Die My Darling Meaning
Song Released: 1999
Die Die My Darling Lyrics
Yeah
Die, die, die my darling
Don't utter a single word
Die, die, die my darling
Just shut your pretty eyes
I'll be seeing you again
Yeah, I'll be seeing you, in hell
So don't cry to me oh baby
Your future's...
-
Always took as a melodramatic girl threatening to kill herself if her lover leaves her for another. The whole "If you break up with me,I'll kill myself.";and the guy calling her bluff with the response of "then die, die, die,my darling...(rest of the 1st verse) I'll be seeing you again,I'll be seeing you in hell." Daring her to do it. Interpretation by RavenBlade.
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
Drugged out chick ODing. Had to know it was in your card.dead end soul for a dead end girl. Now your life drains on that floor. You're future is in an oblong box, don't cry to me.
-
It's about murder, but why they make it? I find it catchy track.
-
Go watch the movie of the same title and see what inspired Danzig and the Misfits to write the song. It's a cover by Metallica.
-
This is simple, it really doesn't need interpretation, but... It's about murder, obviously "die die die my darling, don't utter a single word... Just shut your pretty eyes, I'll be seeing you again, I'll be seeing you in hell", he's murdering "His darling", it's pretty obvious. "your future's in an oblong box(a coffin)" "and now your life drains on that floor", a reference to blood. It's about murder...
-
Killing a loved one because he's crazy.
