Nazareth: Please Don't Judas Me Meaning
Please Don't Judas Me Lyrics
Treat me as you like to be treated
Please don't blacklist me
Leave me as you'd wish to find me
Don't analyze me, sacrifice me
Please don't judas me.
Please don't chastise me
Show me just one shred of kindness
Try to help me...

Remember the first time I heard this song as a child, my mother and brother played the album daily , now age 60, it still gives me chills… beautiful, deep, extraordinary, yet simply meaning, be kind treat others as you would like to be treated.

I think he is telling the world not to be a messing with him. He has had enough!!! People are nasty things. People want to be looking down their noses at others. Thinking they are so much better than the next guy. So he is just saying give me a chance. Don't be a judusin' me dammit!!!
-
I feel he is saying don't betray me, pretty simple but such a great song. He is asking to be treated as he would treat you, that you don't speak ill of him behind his back.
-
Asking for minimum humanity to be shown for his negative actions. No more no less. Something so hard to find after these actions. But something all should be aware of.

I believe these lyrics to be God inspired through the mouth of a hard rocker from over seas. Soeaking to humanity.. a large group of unbrlieving humanity at this time in history. Music is very influencing. The messege here is LOVE. Agape Love at that. Judas committed a horrically evil betrrayal as he was devil incarnate. However on the contrary.. showing "just one SHRED of kindness" (that would be as tiny as a friendly nod or warm smile.. one tiny shred.. is the presence of God in the hearts of man and minds of man.
Notice how his vicals at the end are almost begging, pleading.
Noooooo!!!
please dont judas me!!!
But of course.. he is betrayed, as he slready knew. Because THIS is the wicked world we live in.
Praise Ye the Lord Oh Nations! For His LOVINGKINDNESS.
Yes.. all loving, all merciful, all forgiving.. no matter WHAT youve done (maybe the lead singer here in video, maybe he effed up) no matter what hes done, he is repentive!! we sheweth mercy! Why? Because WE AREALL SHOWN mercy every milisecond. If youre not in Christ by belief on the gospel... you should know it is Jesus who gives you your every breath. He is opposite of Judas as Mr. Iscariot was of the serpent. God Bless everyone.
P.s. prayed and ask spirit to hdlp md understand if this zo g blasphemed him in somd way.. becayse i just wasnt seeing it AZ nd usually i see it right away!! Its a great song to enjoy. This is how we should treat every human. With mercy. We forgive because WE have been forgiven a great deal.
Blessed be my beloved saints!! The King comes sooooooon!! -
Please don't betray me or chastise me like don't go fuck my best friend and then spend the whole daytalking down to me and putting me down for loving you and for you fucking me over . he's upset that the one he trusted with his heart has crushed it and tries to flip it around as if he did the betraying . and theytruelly believe they are being recieved rather than the truth which is they are decieving
-
Don't betray my trust. Jesus's trust in Judas was preordained..
-
I heared this song long ago and my oppion is when I hear the words...please don't judus me is this my understanding ...
judus betrayed Jesus and it's saying do not betray him / me or anyone that does not want to be betrayed treat me as you like to be treated .. All I know is those are some petty strong words -
The sands of time will just fall away, but friends, even gone, are eternal.

just as the Bible discribes it.

Don't betray your friends or anyone as Judas did Jesus.
-
To Judas someone is too turn on or turn in another. He is probably in some type of trouble or has done something to ask of this person please dont judge or anger or chastise etc....me. We all have felt this once or twice in our life.
