Of Mice & Men: The Storm Meaning
The Storm Lyrics
I never said, I'd be coming back for you, back for you.
I never said that, I wish...
I wish that you could see, feel something or just believe,
But you're not here you're way past dead, your heart,...

He was in love with a girl who was pretending to be someone else, specially for him. She lied and cheated, and when he found out he realized he never knew her at all. He wishes she could feel something but her heart is dead because she never felt regret when she was betraying him. He doesn’t know what to do because he’s all alone, and doesn’t know who to trust. He feels as if he’s lost everything, and his only way of expressing his pain is through song. He relives the story throughout the song and his pain in the beginning turns to anger in the end as he realizes exactly what she did
