Parachute: Kiss Me Slowly Meaning
Kiss Me Slowly Lyrics
Tonight don't leave me alone.
Walk with me, come and walk with me,
To the edge of all we've ever known.
I can see you there with the city lights
Fourteenth floor, pale blue eyes.
I can breathe you in....

I think its a teenage love and then their lives was seperated and years later they seen each other again much more mature and "when the time comes baby dont run" maybe he says it when they were teens and now they are ready they are probably kissing slowly
-
"Kiss me slowly". The person wants their loved one to stay. Hence the "stay with me part". So "kiss me slowly" means he wants to savor the moment before there loved one leaves
-
I think that this song means the situation when you love someone and suddenly this person stopped loving you. Then, you want he or she stay with you above all, because you remember the times with him/her (...I could not want you more than I did right then,
As our heads leaned in...), but it won't happen again. You feel strange, so lonely... And you wish that it wasn't happened. You miss your love and you aren't sure what's gonna be with us in the future. You just wanna kiss her/him slowly, just stopping the time.
(...Oh, I'm not sure what this is gonna go, but in this moment all I know is the skyline, through the window, the moon above you and the streets below. Hold my breath as you're moving in, taste your lips and feel your skin when the time comes, baby don't run, just kiss me slowly...) -
How they never want the kiss to end, they want it to be slow and beautiful so it will last forever. It's one of those kisses you wish it would just never end and you will always remember<3
a great live song to listen to on long drives(:
