Mostly Patrick adresses the level of selfpity very blessed human biengs have come to out of sheer boredom or a deep desire to be a part of the 'crowd',like when he says everyones jumping off the bridge and you don't want to be the only one on the ledge. How he deslikes it and compares it to his personal contrast of always having the world on his back and how its getting hard but he doesn't want to complain=he's got nothing to 'confess'. It seems to me Patrick feels very strongly about not buying into one or many of our current cultures superfluous, surfeit, excesive and pointless activities such as wordvomiting on twitter etc. Just taking part in order to get paid or for the sake of fame. Some of Patricks songs are mostly a statement. 'Preachy'. But it may not be a bad thing, seeing as his messages are fairly constructive and can be sincerely appreciated. Although it kind of is a confession to not have a confession. Hahaha. We Love Patrick!!!
