At the first listen you could assume that the lyrics speak of no longer being attracted or "high" in a relationship. Things fizzling and dying so to speak. But after a more thoughtful listen it seems that the words are almost about her speaking to her substance of choice and how it has betrayed, stopped working like it did and become addiction. The rest mostly seems to discribe what I would call drug fueled nightmares and heavy tripping
