I think that sorrow is about a circle of life and the Fear of aging and dying...

The song Sorrow is about a man who survives a nuclear holocaust and he is underground asleep, dreaming about green fields, rivers and beautiful scenes of creation and then he wakes from his dream and realizes everything has vanished, that his reality is an actual nightmare.
