    Sick of the sun is about agoraphobia and depression. "Sick of the sun" symbolizes being tired of going out and interacting with people. She wants it to "go away" and she wants to "float away". She can't trust anyone is in reference to her ex partner that lied to her and treated her poorly, and also executives who view her as a dollar sign rather than a human being. The line "Everyone told me I'd get better" she is referring to depression, which is common for people to dismiss mental health by saying this. "Everyday feels the same" is a common feeling of being depressed.
