Red Hot Chili Peppers: Stadium Arcadium Meaning
Stadium Arcadium Lyrics
When I saw you
I hope I get what you deserve
And this is where I find
Smoke surrounds your perfect face
And I'm falling
Pushin a broom out into space
And this is where I find a way
The stadium...

#1 top rated interpretation:The song is about people coming together and making music, and this reflects their own experience of the power of music to bring people together. It summarizes the whole album (hence the album title) and Anthony Kiedis has said "this is the cup of love - not just love for the individual but for the act of reflecting the light from the heavens, back to the world."

Stadium Arcadium by Red Hot Chili Peppers is a very nice lyrics and the latest comment on this song was well explained.

When I hear Stadium Arcadium, pay attention to the lyrics and analize them, I can relate it with the feeling I get when I am by the lake at night, sitting on the rocks, watching the stars, alone or in good company and thinking that all is so beautiful that I can not think in bad things, and even if I think in existencial questions, I feel calm and safe. When I'm there, I always feel like all that I once thought was the truth or the most important; all my preocupations, are not that. I feel connected to all the Universe, because I am where all started, understanding that I'm nothing, but being nothing it's the most beautiful thing, because I can enjoy nature, this sensations, this ideas and feelings that come within my mind and my body and my soul.

Here's my meaning for the chorus...
The song is about being at peace. He's sitting by a lake surrounded by a beautiful forest and watching the reflection of the moon on the water. He's feeling a connection to nature and his soul. He feels a sense of renewal which will last until the end of his days.
Things that he thought were right, are now wrong, like he was asleep in a dream and awoke after noon. That connection continues, and he's now so strong and confident that he asks God for the purpose of life.

I have never been able to decipher the meaning of the lyrics, but, everytime i listen to it i get the feeling that the meaning is out there somewhere and one day when im not expecting it i will find out what the stadium arcadium is. So until i discover it, i plan to keep searching for the Stadium Arcadium
-
i think that this song means that out there, there is a metaphorically speaking stadium arcadium where everyone is reunited and joined as one. it is a mirror to the moon=the beauty. I love this song!

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

It's quite clear that the meaning behind stadium is one oF many views, be it that of the mother of Anthoy's child, or the sensation one gets when a group of people are brought together to make beautiful music. The underlying message, however, pervades to the idea that no matter the occasion, one can always find joy and comfort in finding their own personal "stadium arcadium"
-
i think it's about when rhcp play their playing to the whole universe and it's about romantic love 'mirror to the moon'. Also it's about performing in a stadium and its like 'i hope you get wot you deserve' or something. I think that's to their fans.

I heard Anthony said it was about a group of people coming together and making beautiful music. He did say "this is the cup of love - not just love for the individual but for the act of reflecting the light from the heavens, back to the world."
Flea has said it is the summary of the whole album and the band agreed it reflects their own experience of the power of music to bring people together.
