Dancing for Rain Lyrics

We're losing daylight but I can't work any faster.
Under the veil of dusk we go on
Don't close your eyes.
What if it all disappears in the shadows
That reach from the stars?

If I held my ground would you ask me to change?
This drought...

This song to me have like 2 different meanings.

In a Way it can relate a relationship love or friend that for some reason its not working like it used to. when it says" this drough bleeds on now we're dancing for rain" . It seems to me like some1 is struggling to Put and end to the Drought even trying the impossible "dancing for rain" but then it says "we drink the air , but it's still not the same. It means that how hard he tried, nothing has changed. the Drough bleeds.

Rise against has activists and environment protectors , they use in subjective way the actual climate problems to describe life problems. like the drough was the problem and the rain was the solve of the problem , and dancing for rain was the way out to solve the problem but ofc we cant "dance for rain". really love this.

In other way more like RISE AGAINST, against what the government do. but Their DROUGH is so big that they cant change nothing. they just keep Dancing for Rain.

    Hope I Helpld<3
