To Them These Streets Belong Lyrics

So look in my eyes, what will you leave behind once you've gone? (so precious)
You got what you came for now I think it's time to move on (when will you say)
But these ghosts come alive like water and wine
Walk through these streets singing...

I'm not sure what the true meaning is, but this is what I have gotten from it: "To them These Streets Belong" and "singing songs and carrying signs" remind me of Anons "Singing songs and carrying signs" on the streets. As Rise Against and I believe the government is becoming terrible and needs to be fixed, we think that Anons should keep fighting and carrying signs on streets, therefore "to them these streets belong". The rest of the song is about the government falling such as "my hands are soaking in the blood of angels! Like broken wings, they collapse" would be the government collapsing and their hands "soaking in the blood of angels" meaning that it is their fault that it is collapsing. "So look into my eyes, what will you leave behind, once you've gone (so precious)" is from Anonymous's perspective saying when you leave, will you realize this mess this nation is becoming and the U.S. being "so precious". Again, Rise Against is awesome because everyone has a different view of what their songs mean so this one might not make sense to you at all.

this song describes the petitioners and our so called "freedom" of speech the main point is this place is screwed as in the chorus "all these lost halos wash away" the eath of a nation or perhaps a generation cut short
