The Lion From The North Lyrics
-
The Song is a retelling of the Swedish king Gustav Adolf, (Known as the Lion of the North) Who lead Sweden to incredibly outnumbered victories in the 30 years war. The song doesn't necessarily talk about any battles he fought in particular though, and just recounts the Swedish Phase of the 30 years war. Gustav Adolf died in the Battle of Lützen, an otherwise decisive victory, in 1632
