    The song, even in it's title, "Lost in Life" suggests the topic of being left with no apparent goal in life, no meaning to your existence. The song also tackles the regret one feels about their past, the missed opportunities and alike.


    * The song takes a lot from another Sirenia song, "On the Wane"
    For instance, "On the Wane" starts with the lyrics:
    "Do you live a lie?
    Are you lost in life?"? while "Lost in Life" has the following lyrics in it's chorus:
    "We are lost in this life
    ...
    We've been living a lie".
    So, the band paid a tribute to their first album with this one.
