My husband died of early onset Alzheimer’s he was diagnosed at 54. He used to sing to me & taught me to dance. Picked up his cremains from the funeral home, put them in the passenger seat & said,”Honey we’ve only got a couple road trips left together and this is one of them so let’s listen to loud music like we always did.” I turned on the radio and this song started right away. I sat there and cried with the engine running. Coincidence? Maybe. But I think he was telling me all the things he wanted but couldn’t because of the disease. It was a comfort.
