    It talks about how maybe this girl liked him ..and he didnt know so they mightve just been friends and she moved on and steve lacy might've liked her but he didnt think she felt the same way , he thinks he is too late to ask her but she might like someone and he wish he had a chance

    Bad Habit is a song about the missed opportunity to be with a girl we liked. The girl liked him, and he wanted her, but he didn’t try hard enough for some reason. In the song, Steve Lacy admits that he wished he knew she liked him, and he asks himself if it’s too late to try.
