Song #3 Lyrics
You will take my breath away
So I'll keep you close and keep my secret safe
No one else has ever loved me
No one else has ever tried
I never understood how much I could take
Then I saw the worst was over
When...

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

My interpretation is its about becoming a father and how that alone has saved him from his demons and how this love is so unconditional and so indescribable..he was so blind-sided with the emotions.. it saved him - might to obvious but as a parent thats the way i see it and i sing it to my boys
-
Even if you have been broken and lost and alone...at the right moment the person who's meant for u will step in and you'll realize what it was all for. You save each other its a equally important moment for them. You have to be broken to be able to love completely.

It's definitely not about his wife. She has to be his secret love & apparently he wants to be the one to make a move. I'm guessing she's someone he randomly met & that their meeting had a profound effect on him. He's definitely been changed by her & he hopes she feels the same way he does.

The beauty of every songs is that you can make your own interpretation for each and every one of them. But to me, song #3 strikes as a song about someone who's been abandoned numerous times, who felt at the lowest of lows and didn't believe in love until he met someone that switched his beliefs, someone that turned that "I'd be better dead" feeling into a "I feel so alive and I want to live now because of her" there's this insecurity behind it that everyone who experienced continuous betrayal and abandonment would feel but he's giving his all in hopes she's the one. She saved him he hopes he saved her too. It's a truly beautiful song. Gets to me everytime I hear it
