Stray Kids: My Pace Meaning
Song Released: 2018
My Pace Lyrics
-
"I wanna be like him, I’m jealous, yes I’m jealous, yes I’m
I wish I was half of half of him
So funny, so funny
It’s so funny how I compare myself with others" it's From Han and Hyunjin's line. (though in English)
My Pace is like a song about how you compare yourself to others, have you ever felt like you wanted to be someone else? Like, what if you were on their shoes?
The next line goes;
"Stop it, stop it
No use in comparing
Don’t do that, stop it now
Just go on your own way"
Where they are obviously saying that 'don't compare yourself to others' and 'just be yourself'.
"No need to rush, my pace
Don’t compare
It’s alright to go slowly
Go on your own path, my lane
Put down your impatience
Just keep looking forward
You ready, let’s go"
'No need to rush, my pace.'
You can always have time for everything, you just need to be patient.
It goes little by little, have you seen Stray Kids in their trainy days? Where they work hard, battling others but not it a physical way, but as a contest like one by dancing, singing or rapping.
Can you see them now? It's been a year but look at the difference, they achieved their goal. And it's from patience and hard work!
Well, that's my interpretation!
