Sub Urban: CANDYMAN Meaning
CANDYMAN Lyrics
Hate the rich man when you're poor
I make more 'cause one day finally
I realized there's no encore
I don't know if anybody is whole
The moment's gone
There's no paradise, just whimsical
Woes and...

I am the same person who wrote the first interpretation. I would like to say that the line "I heard the taste like cholctae" Is the pleasure of eating the rich.
-
I think the song is about how rich people have unhealthy morals or habits. I think the people who he is talking about in the song might have been poor once. "Mama told you to hate the rich man when you're poor." So they kept on making more and more money until they "I realized there's no encore". I think that means in other words the grass may have been greener on the other side.
The person in the song realized that most people are fake and that there is only "just luck and sex and made up goals". Then the next line says that they may be rich but they are still miserable. "I make more but I'm still a poor soul."
The next line shows that the person is now pretty much brainwashed by this lifestyle. Their response? "Guess that's the charm". Then they play darts and miss. Then the next suggests something like the second line.
The phrase "Eat The Rich" means standing up to those in power, and holding accountable for their actions for the less fortunate. In this case,it will be the poor. The "I heard they taste like chocolate" is just Sub Urban being the man he is. That means the next poor person makes more and more money until they are rich. With the course of the song being what it is,it is safe to say that the pattern kept on going. And with "It is with the greatest pleasure that the King and Queen announce the betrothal of their dearly beloved daughter" the rich person got married to some other rich people's daughter. I could be completely wrong but yeah.
