System of a Down: Innervision Meaning
Song Released: 2002
Innervision Lyrics
Longing to roam,
I have to find you,
I have to meet you,
Signs of your face,
Slowing your pace,
I need your guidance,
I need to seek my inner vision,
Inner vision.
My pupils dance,
Lost in a trance,
Your sacred...

1TOP RATED
#1 top rated interpretation:NOTE: all system songs are open to heavy interpretation. while some people just seem to be pulling things out of their asses that seem to have no relevance, there are many ways to interpret System's work (Check some of their invterviews where the state this themselves.).
There are a few ways to interpret this most believe it is about someone trying to find god/spiritually communicate with god.
Two other interpretations are
-Jesus trying to talk to god and find out what his path on earth is (which is a neat one in my opinion becuase I find a cool interpretation for the song forest is Jesus being talk to by God/Satan. I'm not gonna paste lyrics, check em out for your self)
- a Monk trying to find spiritual enlightenment.
NOTE: If I made any spelling, grammar or punctuation errors, guess what . . . I don't care. and don't go babbling on about how system is anti religion blah blah blah, its just an interpretation. The song can mean lots of things. also there are several System songs that have no political message involved with them, take Sugar and Bounce for example. Last I checked screwing groupies wasn't much of a political message, and neither was doing coke. Either way System, old or new, kicks lots of ass. Enjoy. -
I have a home, longing to roam, I have to find you, I need your guidance, I need to meet you, I need to seek my innervision. I interpret this as someone who’s searching for answers from God, while also knowing what they see what their mind is the answer, while being blind. It’s like a blind person saying I need to see what’s in front of me, but just can’t do it. So they’re seeking the answer to allow them to see, but in this case, seeing the true path for life that we are designed for, which imo is higher state of spiritual living. Enlightenment in its truest form, which idk if I’ve ever met anyone like that.

I do believe this song is about meditation whilst on psychedelics, Specifically LSD due to the bicycle reference. Also finding the power and truth within yourself
-
It is about the meditation that tom brown jr teaches at hit tracking school look up tom brown jr go on the site and look at the philosophy class desc also just look up inner vision or sacred silence
-
its about that there seem to be a lot of paths in live but they all lead to the same place, and if you want to get to that place first you need to find yourself and know who you really are and what you are meant to do *theres only one truth path in life, the road that leads to all leads to one*
-
innervision seems very similar to innervation because it lacks a space. Innervation is the technique used in heavy vocals.

Wow to all who think it is a song about god or jesus, obviously no one regonizes a satanic song when they see one. There is only one true path to life is referring to father Enki being our true "god". Lost in a trance, a trance is a power meditation involed in satanism that is very relaxing and often makes your mind wander, hence being lost. Signs of your face, slowing your pace, this refers to ancient doctrines or anything with Satans's "face" on it being destroyed due to christianity, "slowing his pace" to redeming humanity. Lots of ancient knowladge has been replaced with christian bias, and very few truth remains in our world.

well, I think its talking about lsd
'cause the part when he says its not to late to reinvent the bycicle.
and the whole song talks about meditation -
i was told this song is about an ancient god named enki who also had his own constellation
"Stars in their place,Mirror your face"
"i need to find you"
means no one is really sure what civilization he's from because the belief in him has been in almost all for about 1000 years.
"It's never too late to reinvent the bicycle,
A smile brings forth energy or life,
Giving you force."
it's also believed in most all of the variations that he created about everything

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
This is simply about meditation. He is seeking a part of himself that exists within. The part of himself that is free of bias and judgment in order to find the one true path we all need to take.
The lyrics that are missing are;
"There is only one true path in life, the road that leads to all leads to one."
This is definitely spiritual, but insinuates that we are all connected and are here for the same reason. -

-
This song is about a man trying to comunicate with God spiritually.
'I need your guidance,
I need to seek my inner vision'
It speaks of entering a trance, like meditation.
'My pupils dance,
Lost in a trance'
This song is one of the only non-political/non-media SOAD songs I know of.
