System of a Down: Lost In Hollywood Meaning
Lost In Hollywood Lyrics
You're crazy,
Those viscious streets are filled with strays,
You should have never gone to Hollywood.
They find you,
Two time you,
Say your the best they've ever seen,
You should have never trusted Hollywood.

this song is deff saying hollywood fucks everyone. But this song is not saying not to join show biz or any of that.this part of the song proves it.
I wrote you,
And told you,
You were the biggest fish out here,
You should have never gone to Hollywood.
He says "you were the biggest fish out here" so to me that means that they were prolly the best band/singer around in that area and would of been very popular localy. But they wanted to be rich and famous so he/she did what they ALL do go to cali. Hints the quote "you should have never gone to hollywood" -
I think it's a warning not to enter showbiz (or music biz, whatever you might call it).

This song is about how people are so desperate to make it big that they basically throw their own life away and basically become a shell of what they were just to try and make it big. Fuck hollywood, all those corporate scumbags just say your the best just to make a quick dollar when they despise you. The line 'You should've never trusted Hollywood' means that hollywood is a fucking damn fake.
-
Its not about anyone specific. It's just stating that Hollywood is an awful place because it changes people into something they're really not. All the corporate Scumbags, and mainstream companies don't help with this at all.

umm shavo is the bassist. Daron just wrote the bass for mezmerize and hypnotize. Anyway, I think your interpretation is right but it doesn't have to be a girl it could be a friend
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
