The Cab: La La Meaning
Song Released: 2011
La La Lyrics
It’s beating like a drum and I confess
When you’re around
It’s like an army’s marching through my chest
And there’s nothing I can do
I just gravitate towards you
You’re pulling on me like the moon
I just wanna get you...
-
This song is about a guy who is captivated by a girl, his heart is beating fast whenever she is around. He likes her but he does not love her. He wants them to be together physically and he is thinking of saying the eight letter words. He thinks that the girl will believe him if he says these words to her and give herself to him. But deep inside he knows that she knows he is lying about his love for her.
This is definitely physical attraction and not true, pure love. The guy is absolutely a player. There is a danger if people do this, if the guy is not satisfied with the girl, the girl will be dropped like a hot potato in the end. Dangers of fornication or loose morals. Better safe than sorry. -
This song is basically about the guy saying “I love you” in order to get the girl into bed with him...but in actuality he’s lying about loving her so they could have, well you know, together.
So, yeah...
“What would you do if I told you that I la la la la loved you? Do if I said it tonight? What would you do if I told you that I la la la la loved you? ‘Cause you know I la la la la lie”
