   it sounds like the girl has been heartbroken once before and is not letting him love her.
   Her heart wants love but she is acting like she does not want love.

   The song is basically talking about a girl that wants to be loved and the guy is trying to help hence "I hear your heart cry for love,but you won't let me make it right"
   Some guy hurt her in the past, but she is so important to him that he'll do anything to keep her, she builds a wall around her to keep from getting hurt "You were hurt, but I decide it that you were worth the fight, Every night, you lock up,you won't let me come inside"
   But the guy can tell just by looking at her that she wants to be loved and that he'll fill that empty void in her heart with love "But the look in your eyes,I can turn the tide. In your heart, in your heart, in your heart, I can tell you can fit one more".
