Theory of a Deadman: Angel Meaning
Angel Lyrics
Made me a believer with the touch of her skin
I’d go to hell and back with you
Stay lost in what we found.
Worlds apart we were the same
Until we hit the ground
Maybe I’m crazy, maybe I’m weak
Maybe...

I feel like it could someone they love. Insignificant other which he thinks he is hold her back so he is letting her go to live a better life. Same goes for a his child. He never wants his child to leave. But in all reality he is letting them go realizing that he is holding them back to a life. Go and be their own person and live the life they need and want. So it's either way I could see it.

To me, he is in love with someone who couldnt love him in the same depth, and he see it. So he is saying we both would be better off going separate directions. Her to find the love she is searching for, him to he isnt living an illusion that could never be reality.

I think he decided he wasn't what she needed. he decided that she needed a better love. I also think it was about how he loved her but then figured out what she needed was a better love.

This song is one of my favorites. To me, it's about a deep love that ended. She needed more than could be given and showing true love, she was let go to find what she needed.
