#1 top rated interpretation:"Blinded" is a song on the band's third album, OUT OF THE VIEN. He chronicles the relationship between front man Stephan Jenkins and his long time girlfreind Charlize Theron. It starts with the effects from the breakup of the two. The first verse says that he now is just "an old friend coming over, yah that's what I've become".
He watches her take a shower and realizes that he still wants her in his life. The rest of the 1st verse is about jealousy over the relationship. The second verse says that he is angry and doesn't know what went wrong. She is annoyed with him and just wants him to get over it and move. "she's a little angry, grabs the towel and fads away" and he is trying to say something clever to get her back but can say the right things. The 3rd verse seems to take place a few months later and he has had time to think it over and realizes that he is thankful for the time that they had. " I believe that we were lucky, we were golden in he days when we were one"........." but when I see you, inspite if all that we've become, I'm still blinded". He has accepted what happened and will always have a place for her in his heart.....GREAT SONG.
