Tiny Tim: Living in the Sunlight Meaning
Living in the Sunlight Lyrics
Hello my dear friends!
Well, here I am on record at last.
And it feels so wonderful to be here with you on my first album.
(sung)
I'm so happy!
AHA! Happy go lucky me!
I just go my way,
living everyday!
I don't...

#1 top rated interpretation:The meaning of this song, is that he is so thrilled that he's finally got a record of his own. "things that bother you, never bother me. i feel happy and fine" what he means in these lyrics, is that all the while growing up, he was never bothered by anyone or anything growing up.
"haven't got a lot, i don't need a lot" these lyrics mean, that even though he doesn't have that much stuff, Tiny Tim's already grateful for what he has.
"i'm right here to stay, when i'm old and gray. i'll be right in my prime" that means before he passes on, he'll keep on singing for his fans, and the music will go on for generations to come. -
I like to imagine this as hes going through hard struggles and sadness but he doesn't want to show anyone because he wants everyone to be happy. It feels like. Hes built this persona up, wich he describes in his own words who he he seems to be on the outside. When infact the stuff brothers him and he is mentally hurt. He wants to tell them and get help so he can be free from being fake but the people and friends hes around love his persona. He has to keep it up and pretend to be happy, that's why he says "im right here to stay." But this is just how I feel.
