Toby Keith: He Ain't Worth Missing Meaning
Song Released: 1993
He Ain't Worth Missing Lyrics
-
Unlike 99.9% of Toby's songs which are, for the most part, self-evident, this one has a much darker meaning.
On the surface, this song appears to be a ballad from a guy who loves a girl that, apparently, isn't interested.
"He ain't worth missin, we should be kissin"
However, if we dig a bit deeper into the lyritical contextualism, it's actually a song about a guy (the singer) trying to convince the girl that, the guys shes missing isn't worth it and he (the singer) should be kissing him.
This is a song about friendship and revelation.
This girl obviously didn't know her (soon to be) ex-BF and the song protaganist were gay for eachother.
Its a beautiful song with a foundational rythm.
