   I've always heard the lyrics were about some guy that showed up at one of maynards partys, he was drunk and was making a mess, stumbling everywhere..but hey thats just me

   If you push the boundaries of society, you'll find your self too deep in shit to escape. Desensitized society, on a path to self destruction. Despite any warnings to stop, pushing the limits until everyone dies from their hubris actions. Kind of a fall of Rome/Oedipus type of thing.

   Swamp Song is a guide for if you take a lot of acid on how to not have a bad trip and never come back.
   
   My warning meant nothing.
   
   When your on acid the dimensions of things will stretch, the door that was 3 ft away might stretch 100 feet away in your point of view when you take a step towards it, you need to be careful of your emotions and thoughts because the whole trip is mental power. If you start to feel worried, your sinking into quicksand as reality melts, your will to live reminds you primal instinct to not disconnect and float out of your body and lose all reality, but you must keep your mind moving and focusing on the stuff around you and not have any doubt or fear inside because once you do you'll feel the tug of the quicksand pulling you under.
   
   You're dancing in quicksand.
   Why don't you watch where you're wandering?
   Why don't you watch where you're stumbling?
   
   You must keep your wandering and stumbling mind off of negativity but the haze is blinding your path and you wander off from it into the quicksand if your mind is weak,
   
   You're wading knee deep and going in.
   And you may never come back again.
   This bog is thick and easy to get lost in
   
   or in maynards words "Stupid, Dumbass belligerent fucker" you must get out before you wade too deep in and can't find your way back to reality. which would mean you wouldn't come down from the acid. If you wade in too deep and lose your way in the swamp you'll never come back
   
   when you're a stupid, dumb ass, belligerent fucker.

   Wander in and wandering.
   
   You weren't invited to disconnect from reality and experience your third eye to open. You pryed open your Third Eye so you must be careful, you weren't worthy of being able to do that if you get lost...
   
   No one even invited you in.
   But still you stumble in stumbling.
   So suffocate
   or get out while you can.
   No one told you to come.
   I hope it sucks you down.
   
   Maynards words while I took 6 hits of acid my first time saved me from difting off into the universe... If I make a name itll probably be Pushit something
