TWICE continue their love story, "Likey" being their second domestic release after "TT" (the first being "Knock Knock") and the song explores the methods taken by the members to get the perfect shot to impress the object of their affection.

The lyrics "Inside the small screen. I wanna be the prettiest. Yet, still I hide my feelings deep inside" indicates that though they are not ready to confess their feelings, they are still going to put their best efforts in capturing their crush's attention.

"It takes so much effort. To get the perfect look. But it's something. I can never give up. Makes my heart beat everyday. It's something you must never know. Then, I go on pretending" are very relatable lyrics that remind us that sometimes when we upload our pictures on social media, we are really doing it just for one person to see and according to TWICE, "Make a smile, and press hard on the cute red Heart Heart down there".

The lyrics are once again exploring love at the stage when you try to catch the attention of your interest.

The last verse "I feel melancholy today but I'll pretend I'm not, but I still feel sad, I'm sulking because you're not responding" shows the heartache experienced when you fail to gain their attention despite your better efforts.

Thankfully it's only temporary because "—oh wait wait wait I finally got an answer...one moment I'm crying, then I'm dancing with excitement again" showing the bliss and happiness we feel when we finally get that attention we seek.

This is a 2017 follow up of the love story of life as told by TWICE preceded by "Like Ooh Aah", "Cheer Up", "TT" and "Knock Knock".

    The story continues...
