I have personally been down that road and listening to the lyrics reminds me of that terrible place I was in, and so many others have also experienced or are there currently. I realized what his lyrics meant after I had got clean and listened to it just after losing a friend that also battled addiction. It was immediately my take on it after that experience. I'm blessed to have got through it alive. So many close ones are not so lucky. Much love Underoath and thank you guys for being true to your beliefs and having no shame in your faith.
