Both Sides Of The Story Lyrics

If this is what you think is honest
Honestly, I think I'm gonna freak out
This isn't where I wanna be, wanna be
I think I'll let myself out
Show me the door, oh
'Cause I'm leaving the way I came in
With the mess I made
Tonight will...

I think the song is about finding the worse part of the things that you love or finding them out on a "suprising" way which really bummed you out... I don't really know what exactly the song is about but, I think this kind of or a little bit close to my interpretation like finding something bad or awful(in the things you love) and in the end,you started hating it like in the lyrics:"this isn't where i wanna be,wanna be I think I'll let myself out" it means the person (Tay) doesn't want to like that person/thing anymore because she witnessed something awful and then she freaked out because it hurt her feelings because of the moment/situation like the part at "This is what you think honest, honestly I think I'm gonna freak out" I think that the most "part" of the song is like, you know like for ex:finding "facts" about something that you don't wanna know about a singer/artist that you really like a lot or finding your girlfriend/boyfriend cheating on you and other things that will make you freak the hell out of you something like Finding about some stuff like ten things you didn't wanna know about Zendaya or finding about the deep net or something. I think the song is about finding about things that you didn't know about that blew you off (entirely)

    (I hope this really helps)
