White Lies: Power & the Glory Meaning
Power & the Glory Lyrics
Give you back the power
Would I be punished like a child
And left on my own
Would you think me ungrateful
And send me away
If I couldn't make you happy
Cause empty handed leaving
As I was when I came
Tiptoeing through...

i think its about his relation with God , , , because , when The Lord enlightens with His Divine knowledge, love and happiness it is like a very powerful feeling , , , like you never experienced before , so on that moment you realize, that for you its no longer believing in God , but knowing that God is a fact ,,, and he just tab't you on your shoulder,,, that moment your world stops , and your head doesn't stop spinning, you have a calling , , , for the greater cause , you feel the power , you feel the Glory , sings everywhere, , , but your life , your family , your work , oh my God my new car , , , its obvious we would have a doubt , , , nobody but God to talk to , because nobody else wants to listen , because our world has become anti-christ ,,, ,, this is my interpretation , hope you like it , , , and o yes , , , Don't be late , The Divine Spirit has descended , look in the cloud (internet)
and you will find judgement has began !! -
I think that like he was in a relationship in which he was being manipulated without his notice.. and something happened and he realised that to he took back ''his power'' and so he's wondering if the person will not want him anymore because of that.
but that doesn't really work whit the beggining of the song
