11 Minutes Lyrics
I'm 11 minutes away, so why aren't you here?
I think I missed you callin' on the other line
I'm just thinkin' all these thoughts up in my mind
Talkin' love but I can't even read the signs

So YUNGBLUD wrote this song with his ex girlfriend. This song is meant to represent a story that has happened in real life.
The story is about a high school couple that had lived in one of those really small towns, they have split up because of the way society was telling them to be as love has nearly back me secondary to future, success and career so they were forced apart in this respect.
After many years apart they have agreed to get back together the we’re about to meet up, she texted him saying “I’m 11 minutes away”
As he’s waiting for her to arrive and finally reunite, in the time she gets into a car accident and died.
This is a very tragic but true story.
But before I know the back story, from watching the music video I understood that the girl is waiting for him and as he’s on his way to get her she dies in a car accidents. The story repeats each time he tried to run faster and faster to prevent that from happening but eventually she realised he can’t stop this from happening she he gives up.
The video also shows us the different stages of grief he was going through as he was trying to save her again and again. -
Death.
