Zedd: Spectrum Meaning
Song Released: 2013
Spectrum Lyrics
Finding our truth in a hope of doubt
Lying inside our quiet drama
Wearing your heart like a stolen dream
Opening skies with your broken keys
No one can blind us any longer
We'll run where lights...

#1 top rated interpretation:My interpretation of Zedd's Spectrum is about someone who loves a certain person, but they can't be with them. Or, they are forbiddenly in love. At first, it's normal, they can hide, in their little world.
The person they are in love with or are talking about are being blind, not realizing that their relationship is a big deal, and the distractions, or people judging won't be there any longer. To get away from the world.
But then the main sings about where they could run away from the people who would judge them, from basically society itself. -
I've been listening to this song the last few weeks. I think it's a couple that under uncontrollable circumstances cannot be together publicly because the world just cannot know or will not understand. Quiet drama and hiding....
The breathing you in when I want you out makes me think he doesnt wanna think about her so much but it's not possible. -

I think the song was speaking about the truth about everyone. 'I am broken, yet i found love, and i want to be with it, in it forever'.

This song is about a love between a man and this woman he has fallen in love with and they are both deeply in love with each other. However because of certain issues (quiet drama) the world sees her as strange or unfit for them to be together. So because of this their relationship is constantly ridiculed and misjudged. In the song he sings "...I will never let you go". Reassuring her that no matter how things look to others he will keep her in a safe place " hide where love can save us" where she would feel comfortable, instead of misplaced or as though she doesn't belong with him.

I believe this song is about a couple who know so much about one another and love eachother very much as well. For some reason, maybe they have been together a long time, they are becoming sick of eachother (breathing you in and I want you out) and are finding reasons to not be together (quiet drama). But they really love each other, own a home together (their broken keys), maybe even children involved, a regular couple. There might be other circumstances like the man or woman or both are running from something they have done (run where lights won't Chase us), maybe their lives have become dangerous and they are losing sight of eachother (I will never let you go). Anyways, they are heading for a break up that neither wants but knows will happen.

I don't know why but to me this song is about a man who wants to save his girl. The girl has just broken up from a bad relation ship or something bad has happened. The girl is miserable but the guys is coming and is going to take her away and they will be happy together ;DD.

I think this song is about a single guy that finds this non-human women. And he falls in love with her. But he's getting to addicted to her. And she fears of getting taken away by the scientist or something. And she tells him, and they go away to "Hide, where love can save them". And they'll never let each other go. But the inspectors still find them. And she has to go back from where she came from. Its like E.T. but different. And he still remembers there memories. But she leaves and never comes back.
