3OH!3: Don't Trust Me Meaning
Don't Trust Me Lyrics
I got the breath of the last cigarette on my teeth,
And she's an actress (actress),
But she ain't got no need.
Shes got money from her parents in a trust fund back east.
T-t-t-tongues always pressed to...

#1 top rated interpretation:Is it possible that, as the person who's got the "breath of the last cigarette on my teeth," that the singer/writer is also the one who has on a black dress with the tights underneath? The way I read the lyrics on this site, that has to be the case. So is he the "Hoe" we can't trust later?
Of course he has girls in mind or gay men, maybe, since I think he's wearing the black dress but I'm not sure. Boyfriend with a "beef" ha ha so your (he's talking to you now) boyfriend either has a gripe or is puffed up, maybe? Then he rises above that saying he's a vegetarian and not f-in scared.
X's are obviously a reference to marking someone who can't drink (either free, or underage?) You (he's singing to you, ya?) stole a setlist off the stage but other women (or men) have kissed it with edgy lipstick colored lips.
Now you have some problems with bruises (from drug or alcohol use I presume which is why you are shaking) and are really glad no one knows who you are, you girl you, so maybe I'm wrong about the black dress/tights/hoe thing.
Now about the Helen Keller--get over it, girls. This is a reference about wanting sex and not talk, but it isn't necessarily sexist. It refers to a woman who can't talk, sure, but it could have been turned if the singer were female and there were a mute famous male. I'm sure many girls wanted less talk and more action themselves, which is what this passage boils down to.
So is the singer a hoe or not? If so is that why we don't trust a hoe? Or is it because he is totally straight and hasn't found a hoe to trust him? And in that case who is wearing the black dress with the tights underneath? -

#2 top rated interpretation:Well in the video it says something like "the male population was killed by a virus, leaving only 2 male models" who are surprise surprise, duo 3oh!3. It's a parody-like take on being in demand, how some can take it and some can't... And how, when celebs get the success of celebrity, some crack in "pressure" and "being used", and 3oh!3 are basically saying: "f**k that, we're gonna live it up!", I think. That's my view anyway! Don't have a go if it's a lame interpretation!

I've always interpreted "tongues always pressed to your cheeks" to being under pressure and feeling watched
I think that when he says "don't trust a hoe never trust a hoe won't trust a hoe won't trust me" He's saying if you wouldn't trust a hoe, you shouldn't trust people like him because they'll give you the same level of commitment as a ho would.
I think that the line "tell your boyfriend if he says we got beef that I'm a vegetarian and I ain't fuckin scared of him" he's suggesting that her boyfriend is being dramatic because he doesn't actually care about the girl he's talking to and doesn't care enough to compete, and thinks that her boyfriend acting tough is pathetic and stupid, because it seems like he doesn't feel threatened. -
This is my interpretation.
The girl in the black dress is young and comes from a ewaltjy family. I think wealthy because if he “trust fund back east” and young because she is not old enough to legally deink alcohol at the bar. I think she is looking for some kind of romance or adventure. She winds up backstage with the band. This might not be exactly what she wanted, but she was innocent and went looking for love in the wrong place. -
This song is about how a ho will make you believe you can trust her- she wants to touch me, woo hoo, she wants to love me woo hoo shells never leave me.... don't trust a ho cause a ho wont trust me...
she knows what a liar she is and so she has trust issues herself believing that a good man would be with her, and you can't trust her because you innately know shes a ho... and if shes a ho she knows what she is capable of... in a liar's mind if theyre capable of doing it anyone is suspect. and in the end it will just explode from trust issues since that is the root of the relationship between the two from the beginning. -
For everyone with interpretations of the x's, that just means she can't drink. Bars do this to underage people entering s bar so the bartenders don't have to constantly ID everyone. Her washing off the x's shows she's gonna drink even though she shouldnt be
-
My interpretation of this song is that the girl was straight edge but changed because she was depressed. Xs on the back of someone's hand mean straight edge I should know because I am. Straight edge is all about not smoking which someone does in the song. no casual sex which is what a hoe does and no drinking which is what the girls doing once the xs are washed off her hand meaning she must be straight edge but then gave it up so the guy doesn't trust her anymore.

Ok so the song is about some girl with trust issues
And a guy who wants to have sex with her,
you can tell in the line, "tounge up in some other girls teeth"
The girl is a hoe that wants to fit in because of trust
Issues she has, " just another girl alone at the bar"
I'm guessing that's not all but what I have so far -
Seems like it's about a girl-who may be a prostitute-and this guy is trying to get with her,and maybe he does, and that's where the part of the song"T-t-t-tongue always pressed to your cheeks while my tongue is on the inside of some other girl's teeth"he is cheating on her,and that's what I think, and the fact that it says"I got the breath of the last cigarette on my teeth"he smokes.
It's a good song though.
Know it by heart.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. -
Okay so this song is probably about a girl at a bar who has trust issues... He basically wants to sleep with her but she doesn't trust him. She's being abused, which is why they mention bruises on her arms and is depressed and cuts which is why it says she has x's on the back of her hand and shes keeping it a secret which is why shes washing them in the bathroom. She goes to the bar and acts like everything is fine... Basically he's saying not to trust her because she's lying about what's happening and she shouldn't trust HIM because he'll sleep with her and leave, but he still wants to bang her and give her an excuse to leave her boyfriend...so Yeah.

I find the lines ''Don't Trust a hoe''/ cos I won't trust me.'' to be the most interesting lyrics of the song. It made me think that perhaps some men/women are afraid of trusting someone because they don't completely trust their feelings/actions with/around that person. These profound lyrics are dumbed down by the beat, however the message is still clear to me. Some are afraid to trust others because they don't trust themselves. It's certainly an interesting theory worth debating.

I think it's about a guy who's cheating on another girl ("well my tongue is in the inside of some other girl's teeth") and is having sex with this girl ("she wants to touch me (whoo hoo), she wants to love me (whoo hoo) she'll never leave me (whoo hoo"))But who cares about the meaning, this song is awesome to listen and dance to!

This song is actually about a rather silent and uptight girl who doesn't trust anyone. She wears black so she won't stand out (just another girl alone at the bar) and the "tights underneath" express her inability to trust. The inablility to trust herself comes from a possibly abusive relationship with her current boyfriend. She wants this other man who is pretty much a manwhore, but she doesn't trust him either. She is financially capable of holding her own, having a "trust" fund back east.
The "back east" shows just how far away this trust fund is, and metaphorically speaking, how deep down she has buried away her trust in men. -

its sexist.
its saying "use your helen keller and talk with you hips" thats both an insult to helen keller and it also is saying that women are only good for sex!!!
but of course men think that....they dont care how women feel, all they want is sex -
I think that it's a song that doesn't really have a meaning. I think that they just wanted the song to be funny and it was. The song is AMAZING so it doesn't really need an explanation.
