AC/DC: Hell Aint A Bad Place To Be Meaning
Hell Aint A Bad Place To Be Lyrics
Sometimes I think this woman is kinda hot
Sometimes I think this woman is sometimes not
Puts me down, fool me around
Why she do it to me
Out for satisfaction
Any piece of action
That ain't the way it should be
She...

I think that after listening to AC/DC for over 40 years, and am a lifelong fan that although life is full of bad things that would be considered sinful. At the time we thought it was good, felt good, or whatever you want to apply that to,it was a hellful experience. But it it felt heavenly. I dont think like a lot of critics do that AC/DC actually thinks the real hell aint a bad place to be, Im sure they do. Also the song Highway To Hell is about the kinda hell they went through during the years of being on the road in a rock n roll band. Thats my thoughts. Gary Pennington/PENNDRAGON DESIGN!

Hey you, yeah you
Sometimes I think this woman is kinda hot
Sometimes I think this woman is sometimes not
Puts me down, fool me around
Why she do it to me
Out for satisfaction
Any piece of action
That ain't the way it should be
She... is so hot

It's about Bon having a girlfriend that abuses him and treats him like crap, but the sex is good, so "Hell ain't a bad place to be".
-
I think Bon is refering here to a girl he loves and realizes is cheating on him: "Out for satisfaction/
Any piece of action," " Spends my money/ Drinks my booze/ Stays out every night/ But I got to thinkin',/ hey just a minute/ Somethin' ain't right /All this disillusions and confusion /Make me wanna cry /Oh the shame you, playin' your games /Tellin' me those lies /Don't mind her playin' demon /Long as it's with me." But he believes that as long as he never meets the other guy, He can pretend he doesn't exist. I mean, when you're suspicious, ignorance is bliss: "If this is hell /Then you could say /It's heavenly
Hell ain't a bad place to be." -
This song is about Bon getting tempted by a woman, who's pushing him into doing bad things which symbolizes hell and he's saying that even though its wrong, hell (or being with her) isn't as bad as it seems.
