This song is pretty much self-explanatory.
He meets this girl and thinks she’s so perfect; she’s the one. He starts thinking about telling her he’ll care for her and always be there for her. The gut has never known what true love feels like and is saying the girl makes him feel “alive.” Given all the chances, he feels he can never make this girl understand his love for her. When he says “Beautiful sky in your eyes, it’s so worth it.”, he means he sees an infinite world and unending compassion as he looks into her eyes. Instead of telling her how much his love for her is, he walks away for the first time; leaving the one he believes to be his soul mate because he felt she would never understand his love and compassion. She makes him laugh louder and love harder. He wants to make every second she is around a lifetime memory. Every time it’s different, but the passion for her and her actions never fades. He explains how he fights through every day struggles for her, that she is the best thing in his life.
