    This is saying about their drummer, Scott, and the bands feeling towards him having cancer. 'In a dream I spent the day with you. In a carriage brought by blood' This is saying how that he spent his day with him in a dream, and that in this dream, they were all brothers, blood brothers. 'The clouds are singing songs of fear and loss' they are fearing for the worst.

    'And they cut me down to size' is basically saying, that this news made them feel really small and really unworthy.
