Make It With You Lyrics
Really reaching out for the other side?
I may be climbing on rainbows
But baby, here goes
Dreams are for those who sleep
Life is for us to keep
And if you're wondering what this song is leading to,
I want to make it...
-
This song is all about a lover, from the past to present, trying to move on the present happenings. They made it.LIFE IS FOR US TO KEEP.

Like twin flames in separation
He is telling her that he is ready to stop fighting his feelings and give in to the journey and be together ❤

It's about the singer telling something to his gf.
This is not the right song for your ex-bf or ex-gf.
Choose a more realistic song.
If you really want to say something personal to you ex, say it to them face to face and not here online.
Who knows they don't even read the interpretations here.
This song is meant for those who are in a loving relationship and not a broken relationship.
My name didn't came from a flat shoes.

Hey.
I know you are still hurting, you're saying that you are over it but I know that you are not. Entrusting your heart to someone might be hard, well, given the outcome of your past relationship.
All I am saying is, please take all the time that you need. Be completely healed.
I will wait for you...
And if you are ready to love again, even if that person is not me, please know that I enjoyed our moments together.
I wish you all the best. I'm glad I met you...Please be safe.

I agree that he found the one for him. But it's not about the "Make it" you are referring. I think he is telling her he likes to do things in life and he wants to face life together with her. He wants to experience life with her. He knows life is hard but he is choosing her to help him face life and he knows they'll make it through together.
Waves interpretation that I read today is somewhat similar with this song

I have found the one for me. "Make it" refers to the 70's adage of having sex. After the sex, it is meant to last a life time together.
