    This song has held me together when everything seems to be falling apart. I think of a very close friend also when I hear this. It reminds me of my struggles with drugs and alcohol. I can't relate to this song. The words cut like a knife.

    Know this is written in metorpors so some if not all are exactly and varies from person to person as it is poetry as well.

    I wipe the night from my eyes
    Block out the sunny day and I hide

    (begining of a new day you don't want to face)

    Everything's falling down around us
    I'm just missing the rain

    (depression and problems like the weight of the world iss falling down on you)

    I'm happier now today
    Don't let me down
    Don't let me go
    A change of seasons inside her mind
    (feelings of loosing it knowing the mood swings of the seasons some people go though)

    In time I'll decide
    In time I'll decide to move on
    We change directions, we watch the tides
    And we borrow too much

    (we are beging the stages of change and the mind thinks slowly changing your veiws about a person. we change are minds. and some times troubles from others are over baring are points of veiws and feelings)

    We form restrictions and we form lines
    And we separate you from me
    (we hold things agenst each other. we are slowly changing are thoughts about each other. like a restriction getting between people an example would be there job or way of life)

    Sometimes, sometimes we carry more weight than we own
    (this feeling of being over burdened or over shadowed in you life example of feeling no way out and it's hopeless)

    Oh but sometimes sometimes goes on
    (this has serval meanings. sometimes is the some times are memory even carries into the future)
    Night takes the light by the hand
    Tunes out the boring day and cries out loud
    (this is an ending of a day)

    Everyone's hanging on, hanging on my words
    It kills the thrill in being divine
    (being in the attention of others is killing the divine feeling)

    But she's happier now today
    Don't let her down

    There are no reasons there are no lies
    We just bleed together
    That's how we realize
    We change directions we watch the tides
    And we borrow too much

    Somehow we'll find a way we've got to paste it back together These ripped out pages of old coloring books
    (trying to put life and relationship back together from all the chaos. it's really not the same no matter how hard you try but your love wants to reattact it. you fondness of a child and it's coloring book)

    ( I don't even think kevin knew the depths he was writting here. But your gold is my silver. as we know gold has more value. but to choose silver over gold is to choice wisdom over knowelge. this is more powerful then I think candlebox know the words they were writting from the depths of there true meanings. but he managed to capture the essence of just knowing these were the right words to speak from the heart)
    my blue is grey. on thing I am not so sure on the blue. but I know in contras that grey is a value and in the grey area of feelings it is neutral between light and dark knowing a good example of well balanced knowelge)
