Carrie Underwood - Cowboy Casanova Meaning

Song Released: 2009
Cowboy Casanova Lyrics
You’re running, you’re trying, you’re trying to hide
And you’re wondering why you can’t get free
He’s like a curse, he’s like a drug
You get addicted to his love
You wanna get out but...
-
Look up Dallas Winston. Thats Cowboy Casanova.
-
She just wrote a song that most people can relate to.

The guys a narcissist and she knows this. Shes no dummy and knew it from the start. He probably thought he had her fooled. While he was probably smart, handsome and charming shes just way to good for him (she's real and feels). To good for him in so many ways. She played games with him for a little bit. Fed his ego for a bit. She's done now and giving a shout out to all the other ladies as a warning. Some women are not as keen on these things.
Cool song speaking volumes to be as I've been in a relationship like this. -
That a boy will do anything to get you so don't listen.
-
This song is about a narcissistic man and the lengths they will go to so you fall in love with them. She's telling other women to steer clear. IMO: They are so good at what they do you have to feel sorry for them incapable of feeling real love.
