Songs about Running
Why walk? Walking is so dull. Run, especially in public. It freaks people out when they see you dashing madly around, only to find you were just on your way to the library. They get offended. How dare you be a free spirit and show some enthusiasm for life. You're supposed to plod along glumly like the rest of us.
So, some people run for exercise, some for sport, and some just for the transportation. It is, after all, one of the few skills that humans are best at out of all creatures. Sure, we may not be the fastest on the short sprint, but we can run for a lot longer while a cheetah gets winded in four minutes. No, really, that's how humans survived the hunter-gatherer centuries: We could persistently outrun any prey. Now doesn't running feel more important?
