   I believe he was her true love. While alive she did what he had her promise, to go on. Become an old lady have children etc. At the end I believe she was ready to go and reunite where he was waiting. I believe when she through the necklace in the sea meant she was going back, she laid in her bed passing away where they reunited. She was walking up the stairs again where he was waiting.

   The first part "Every night in my dreams I see you I feel you" means that Rose (from the movie Titanic) dreams about (Jack from thr movie Titanic who died.) Than the lyrics "that is how I know you go on" means that although a person dies their heart lives on. Than the lyrics "near far wherever you are I believe that the heart does go on" she does not know where his heart is but she knows it lives on, most likely referring to heaven. Then the lyrics "once more you open the door" means even though he is gone he still opens the door to her heart. Then "and you're here in my heart and my heart will go on and on" mean that even if she falls in love and marries another guy he will still be in her heart forever. Than the lyrics "love can touch us one time and last for a life time" means that even after him being gone for years she still feels and remembers his love. Than "love was when I loved you one true time I hold to in my life we'll always go on" means she will still love him no matter who she meets and no matter what that they will live on in her heart. Than "we'll stay forever this way you are safe in my heart" means no matter what her love for him will never change and that his memory and the memory of their love is safe in her heart.

    i cried when jack died but a wonderful song. i have a music box that plays the song and that puts me to sleep every night.it means that when you lose a love you have memories of them and they dwell in your heart forever and go on.

    I think to be prepared to my life I’ll dont do tears but I’ve never had my life going on but it’s leasing to the new thing.     Theres a scene in the movie where Jack saves Rose to go into the small life boat . Rose climbs and jumps back onto the Titanic to be with Jack. Would u risk it all to be with the 1 u love ?? I would . This movie makes me laugh and at the end cry . Celine Dion is the perfect singer to sing My heart will go on in this movie. Every song has the most beautiful meanings . Rene Angelil Celines husband is an exceptional manager and writer. That surname Angel says it all . I have every CD and listen to all her songs regularly. I urge everyone around the world to google up Celine and learn and watch how this woman LOVES . Absolutely incredible
