Cherri Bomb: Heart Is A Hole Meaning
Heart Is A Hole Lyrics
Where do you turn to when you find the right is always wrong
All this dying I wen through to live for you
And now...
My heart is just a hole
An empty space that used to belong to you...

The empty feeling that comes when somebody you loved betrays you leaves scars. Cherri Bomb's song, "Heart is a Hole," is about that scar, and the pain. The first line - "what do you do when the truth is a lie" - shows that the narrator's heart was broken by somebody that was close to her. This person was someone she loved, her heart belonged to him or her. When this person left, all that the narrator feels is emptiness - cold, never-ending loneliness. She thought she knew the person she loved: "what do you do when you think you know someone inside out,
where do you go when all of your faiths turn into doubt." even though it's physically over, the emotional pain endures: " I still think of you when I close my eyes, and every time I do, oh, part of me dies."
