Affluenza Lyrics
And daddy's got a new mansion to keep
He never really calls back
'Cause he's got too many finances to reap
Money, money, ain't it funny, honey
When you get what you need
Baby, life is a breeze
Money, money, give me...

Simple interpretation is:
Social commentary on the rich and affluent gen x’s who are neglected emotionally by their parents; but have and enjoy the superficial signs of wealth, gold, diamonds, Mercedes Benz's.
In reality they have all material goods available - but lack true solid relationships, parental guidance and security of understanding of their significant others.
Overall a sad comment on the next generation - not necessarily their fault.
