Titanium Lyrics
You shout it out
But I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud not saying much
I'm criticized but all your bullets ricochet
You shoot me down, but I get up
[Chorus:]
I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire...
-
What makes you different is what makes you strong. So whatever anyone says/does about you being different won't affect you - "I'm criticized but all your bullets ricochet
You shoot me down, but I get up"
People shouldn't be afraid to be different!! -
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

I think its about how hes been bullied and put down so he had enough. He looks like he let out so much anger that it created his supernatural powers to come running to him. He then freaks out the school and tries to find somewhere he can be safe and himself without being judged. The first place anyone would think of is home. But when he sees the news report he realises hes in even more trouble because the human race does not like anything different, we are scared of it and so send in the army and whatever. He then realises he is on his own but will be bulletproof & unharmed by the bullies/army/ the people who are scared of the unexplainable. He runs away but remains unharmed because his supernatural powers saved him. I think overall it says that humans are scared of difference and that if that difference causes someone trouble, someday they will overcome it and become better then everyone. Sorry its so lenthy xx

I think this song is about being an outsider ( unusal) and being discriminated about his differences and people are saying hurtfull things but he is trying to say " how hard you try I wont fall " eventually he shows every one he has had enough.
-
If you watch the video he's sort of like an alien because he is bullet proof and everyone's scared of him because he was being bullied but now he has stood up for himself, he has stood up a bit too much so then the army get involved and are trying to kill him but they cant because he's "titanium" so yeah.
-
the song is all about a boy with superhuman powers who lands in a school and is being chased by the squat team as they think he is dangerous so he goes home thinking he is safe but he sees the news reporting superhuman activity so he runs away then gets caught in the forest but escapes once again by using his powers:)
-
I believe this song is about an autistic child who has had a 'meltdown' in school. You can raise your voice all you want at an autistic child and he won't hear a word, equally the child can scream and shout inside his head trying to get words out but never does.
-
Never be afraid to show who you are, stand up to anyone, from bullies to gunmen! The official video shows a boy who blew up his school and is going to be shot for doing so, but he stands up and is 'Titanium', so no-one can beat him down.
Sounds cheesy, but is true. Hope you like it! -
i think the song means im low enough so you cant push me down after a while your comments just bounce back as i fight back. the shooting is like comments coming out hard and fast but after a while they dont hurt. the boy in the vid (ryan lee) is fit n he also stars in the movie super 8. #rlfan x
-
My opinion of this song, is about people can say and do stuff to you and carry it on but in the end they will lose because if you stand and take it, you are showing you are strong than the person giving you crap. So i think its about that :)

from listening to the lyrics for a good while and the official video i have come up with this
it is about a kid, to be honest he is a bit goofy looking and therefor he most likely isnt very popular at school its sad but thats how it is he then makes somehting happen at school which freaks everyone out. when hes riding his bike it makes it look like hes going fast and he cant be stopped and he also passes that rather large women who again most people would laugh at the idea of her jogging but shes showing them just like the boy is doing all along. when the army get involved that just shows how humans treat anyhthing different or a threat.
the song is about no matter who you are you can achieve anything and you can be whoever and whatever you want and always keep going. there is always inner strength even when the game is up. -
The boy has simply had enough of being pushed around and had realized that even standing up for himself can land him in trouble. Sometimes retaliation doesn't make it right. On the other hand his supernatural powers are actually quite harmless and also out of this world, however the ignorance and greed of humanity find and treat it as a threat when really there has been no wrong doing on the boys part. He's running to be safe where really he's completely alone and in danger, but he now knows he can take care of himself

i thought he blew up the school.. but yeh like no matter how many times you try and take me down i wont fall, i am strong, im better than you think i am. something like daaat :3
-
I was thinking it was about bullying..
-
This song makes me think of an argument between a couple that is becoming violent, because of the lyrics used. "you shout it out, but I dont here a word you say" could suggest that one person is shouting and the other is trying to ignore it obviously the victim. However eventually the victim begins to fight back, the reason why I think this is because of "you shoot me down but I won't fall, I am titanium" suggesting they are becoming stronger and able to stand up for themselves.
